Bernstein Medical - Center for Hair Restoration Patient ETI came to Bernstein Medical looking to repair a hair transplant he had gotten using outdated techniques. He had an extensive number of large plugs throughout his head, and a very unnatural hairline. To correct the pluggy transplant, we started with 4 graft excision sessions, where we removed the plugs and redistributed hair as individual follicular units. Following that, ETI had a camouflage procedure, using follicular unit transplantation, which consisted of 1,917 follicular unit grafts. In total, between the excised plugs and the FUT procedure, we transplanted 3,210 follicular unit grafts for ETI’s hair restoration. The results photos were taken one year after his FUT camouflage procedure.

Change of Appearance:

A series of four graft excisions to remove the largest plugs. The hair removed from the plugs was placed in the surrounding area as individual follicular units. An FUT procedure provided the final camouflage.

What would this patient be classified as prior to repair, nw6?

Does he have any remaining donor?

Great questions, abovedagame. Patient ETI was a Norwood Class 7 and has very little donor hair left.

So what is he going to do? He still looks as though he's trying to pull off a combover at the minute. He needs extra grafts along his side part..

Hi Jack Ito. We agree with your suggestion. He does have a little donor hair left.
