I will keep this short. I just finished reading an article about a man(full head) with 5 kids, who had an affair on his wife. The woman he chose to have an affair with was also married. That woman's husband eventually found out about the affair and ended up killing the father of 5. Tragic story. The full heads wife was stuck with 5 kids and no father to support them. Guess who came to the rescue?

The woman isn't bad looking. Keep your head up guys. There is a woman out there for all of us. Any boy with a dick can have kids, but it takes a real man to be a father.

Good guess. I actually know a guy in real life who is in the same situation as this dude, but in he got married to a girl with 3 kids from 3 different guys. Sad thing is none of the dad's were paying any child support.

The funny thing is, as I was reading the article and they started talking about her getting remarried, I was thinking: "for the love of god, please don't make the dude bald". I can't say that I was surprised.

I am actually one of the guys that doesn't share the extreme feelings that others around here have about going bald. I believe you can be bald and still live a good life and get decent looking women. But I would be lying if I said I didn't see sh*t like this on almost a daily basis. Because of this place I am not only more aware of my hair loss, but also the hair loss of others. Every time I see a bald/balding guy I start to analyze his situation. How does he carry himself? Does he care about his appearance? Is he with a woman? What does she look like? Does he look like he wants to end it? Could he be somebody from hairlosstalk?

I'd say you're reasonably balanced in your outlook.

I just find this kinda "Guess who she ends up with?! BALDY" kinda attitude is a bit simplistic, y'know? Maybe he had a legit serious relationship before her, maybe he didn't want to be what some could insinuate is a "beta provider" but he just fell for someone and subsequently grew to care for her children over time.

Life's f*****g complicated, is all, and we constantly twist every situation into assuming the bald guy is feeding off scraps. This may often be the case for all I know but, it does get very presumptuous and quite judgemental to have that attitude.

I think many carry these judgement calls into the real world, and as we see all the time on here, people can twist whatever they want in whatever way they want to see it.

Baldness to all of us is something that's unreasonable and makes no sense. In an attempt to combat that I think a lot of people reach far to make absolute sense of the world around us and why things happen, a bald guy with an attractive woman? Single mother who doesn't put out with baldcel provider.

It just goes on like that, it's a comfort that explains why good things can happen to other guys despite baldness, and not to us.

Honestly, the way I see it: most people cannot pull off the bald look that well. In most cases any woman in their 20s will be dating beneath them if they date a bald man (unless he looks like Kelly Slater or something. But when you are in you late 30s and 40s it matters far less and people aren't as judgemental. Half the women will then have cellulite and sagging and will overlook a lack of hair.

Basically, being bald is bearable because you can still function and see women but they will always date you in spite of the hair,

This isn't a belief for me, it's a fact. I have a cousin who shaved completely since he was 22. He's tall, alpha as f***, and good looking. He has had multiple 8/10 girlfriends and recently got married to a genuinely beautiful 9/10. I also know two other bald guys who have done well, although not as good as my cousin.

This doesn't help my situation though. It's also a fact that for some folk going bald will mean they will not be able to get decent looking women. I mean there are many folks who can't get decent looking women with hair, so this fact is undeniable.

So it does not really help to point out to these guys that "balding isn't the end of the world for every guy". Unless they have BDD I suppose.

I would agree with you that it matters less the older you get, mostly because it is more common when you get older, but it is still very much looked down upon. It is put in the category of "letting yourself go". I was on a different forum a couple of weeks ago and a woman was discussing how her husband wanted her to dress sexier. She goes on to explain that she doesn't feel comfortable because she has put on some weight since getting married. She later excuses her weight gain by saying: "He's no prize either as he has pretty much gone completely bald since we got married".

Know a full head, in his fifties, who has two adopted kids. He's single.

He's extremely overweight. Don't know if that caused it or not.
