Lel, I used to look similar, but younger just 2 years ago.
Today I saw a bum dude who had a tattoo on his horseshoe. It was a dragon. I was baffled and confused. Real story, I didn't take the pics cause he was one buff bum.

I don't mind this thread but it reminds me I've got years of seeing this same old regurgitated article 400 times with that guys face and something along the lines of "confidence. Prove this."

The original "hot convict" meme actually pre-dated Jeremy Meeks, and she wasn't even that hot (like a 7). If females are trash in 2017 then throw us in there too (which I wouldn't even disagree with).

I worked so hard to get where I am now career wise, sacrificed a lot. Okay it required someone to have above average intelligence (not genius level like @Afro_Vacancy) but most of it was hard work. I finished right at the top in all subjects due to having some intelligence but dedication being the deciding factor. I ended up with a prestigious career. I remember my first car at 18 and the memories I had, how happy I was then with everything. The night outs, social events, travelling, driving aimlessly at 4am on all kinds of roads with music and company. I've helped people through my job with their health and charities. I'm quite an emotional person and the passage of time and people makes me sad. It should be seen as beautiful and I try to view it like that. Yet all this still seems just standard stuff when I look at it and not personal to what makes me who I am. Sure we're defined by our actions but that's a conscious choice and not something genetic.

Over time I've realised what I'm most grateful to my parents for is my looks and it was hair loss which made me realise that. Everyone loses their good looks one day but the memory of them and the fact I'll still look good for my age will persist. I'll give everything up to ensure I keep my hair and looks/age well. My happiness allows me to stay focused on helping others and different goals.

You seem to be someone who is very concerned with your looks , as am I but I was wondering do you obsess over your looks? I believe this where it turns unhealthy or into bdd which is what I believe I might be struggling with. Constantly feeling the need to check my hair and even my face throughout the day in different lights / mirrors. It's a weird obsession for sure. Only a relatively low percentage of guys care about looks in this sense. The majority of guys just want looks so they can bang girls .

I know it's just a question but I don't really know how you got the impression he'd be "obsessing" over his looks from that post. Guys who think they're possibly attractive have to look in the mirror a lot, guys who actually are attractive have reality to remind them on a regular basis, and don't have to obsess over it.

Unless something like hair loss kicks in, then obsess over the hair loss but not exactly their facial features.

I think he was giving a nod to the fact that looks gave him a tailwind to improve himself in all ways, something a lot of less attractive guys on here rightly note as a reason for finding it very difficult to really dig deep in terms of self-improvement. They can pretty much only improve themselves in coping interests that make them genuinely happy, and a lot of the time these interests aren't exactly beneficial to themselves or to society, unfortunately.

If you have encouragement from doing nothing, you encourage yourself to do things you don't necessarily want to do or need to do.
