SMP and Hair Transplant - Results so far....

I suppose I should start by saying that I'm not new to this forum, although it has been a very long time. As of today, I'm 39 and 364 days old, and I'm recovering from my hair transplant. Since the age of 20, I've been experimenting with every tool you can possibly imagine to try and combat...

Mo Salah - early signs of transplant. Why no SMP?

Just seeing Mo Salah on his way to the World Cup and the transplanted hair that we all saw has done what it’s supposed to do and shedded. He now looks like he’s got himself a major receder, but he looked great before that. Surely if you’re rocking the buzz after surgery it’s worth looking into...

Turkey clinics. How to balance out cost and quality

Hi everyone I’ve been wearing a hair system for 5 years and it’s getting to be a bit of a drag. I’m a Nw4 and I’m planning on getting a combination SMP and hair transplant. The SMP is largely for the look of greater density, although it’s also to ease with the transition from systems as I will...

At a crossroads and need some advice

Its £1200. It’s a lot. I’m skeptical as well, but they say that they have a workshop in the building and do repair work if needed, which perhaps prolongs the life of the piece. He was adamant that mine was chemically treated, and alluded to the fact there was something missing from the hairs...

At a crossroads and need some advice

Hi all I’m currently weighing up my options re:stylists and suppliers. I have been happily using a stylist for a few years who has until recently been amazing. However, he has recently been supplying me with poorly constructed systems. They have rarely lasted two months and often have defects...

Having a bit of a bonding issue. Help required.

Hi all Could use some advice. I’m wearing a lace unit, and use Ghost Bond glue. Until recently it’s held fine, but for a while I’ve been really struggling to get a strong hold. It’s weird, because if anything, I’ve been exercising and sweating a lot less than normal, so seems strange that this...

My new system! I’m super happy with it.

My stylist has just been getting better and better with every visit. Goes to show you can get amazing results if you’re open about what you want. It’s taken over two years to get to this point, but I feel like I’ve got this thing down now!

First I got a replacement system. Then I found this forum.

I think it looks good, especially for a first system. Yes, the hairline is SLIGHTLY straight/dense, but I can tell you now that the only person who clocks it is you. Perhaps you can get the salon to thin it a bit. What's your base material? You certainly don't look like you're wearing a helmet...
