There are of course exceptions to the rule but this is generally how it goes.

Here are some failos I can think about.



Height: Being below 5'9, depends on your location though. In the Netherlands it's probably below 5'11 or so while in the Mediterrenean its probably more like below 5'7. Generally younger girls who are in the prettyboy phase mind it less. Matters more the older you get and the older the girls you date get.

Frame/Proportions: Small frame is bad. Wide hips is bad. Gyno is bad.

Hair: Above NW1.5-3 is bad. Hugely dependent on age again. You wont be able to date girls who spend their free time on tik tok if your hairline is past Norwood 1.5. However you might still get away with nw3 with 25 year olds if you have the right head for it without it being a failo. Unlikely though. Probably more like nw1.5-2.5 tbh. So hair matters less the older you get and the girls you date get and the better your skullshape is.

Skullshape: Hairloss is the only possible failo that enables another failo. Skullshape. Your skullshape doesn't really matter if you have hair as we know from those nice transformations on r/bald that reveal the freakish skulls. Dunno what constitutes a sh*t skullshape but you know it when you see it.

Face: Eyebrows and below. Again, you know what is a good, average, bad face when you see one. Might have to evaluate it together with hair/skullshape but since we are on a hairloss forum it kinda makes sense to divide it for more generalization regarding norwooding.

Weight: Don't be fat. Self explanatory. I don't even know why you are here if you can't fix that so honestly just stop reading here if you are fat and mealprep salads for the rest of the week. Can only be a failo.

Dick size is another possible halo, failo but it usually only gets relevant once you already landed the girl. Determines if you can hold FWB's and how long you can hold ltr.


Now a debatable question is how halos make up for failos. For example it's widely known that past 6'2 some norwood salvation can take place. Basically top tier height making up for being bald. I'm too lazy to figure out how all of this goes, but generally I think real halos don't completely make up for failos (except in extreme cases like meeks having a gigachad face making up for his balding), but are still nice. Lets just say 2 halos make up for one failo to simplify the argument.


So lets make up an example suitable for this forum:


6'0, good but not great frame/proportions, nw5, good skullshape, ok face, ok weight.

6´0 is not yet a halo. It's what women consider average irl. Tall starts at 6´1. So pretty much neutral
Frame/proportions not a halo. Halos only start at elite tier
NW5 a failo
Decent skullshape. Skullshape can't be a halo, you are bald if it starts mattering.

weight not a failo

so we have 1 failo, no halos but most things are in upper range.
this guy will be able to get LTR's with prime niche girls that don't mind balding very much. possibly bc their father is bald or honestly due to a variety of reasons. he will not be able to consistently get slays due to his bald head though. very unlikely without insane social skills/status/hatfishing etc.

he puts on weight --> no more ltr's. bald and fat = no ltr material

he was 5'7 --> no more ltr's. bald and small = no ltr material for desirable women

he had a gigachad face and 6'1 --> could probably slay even while being bald



tldr: 1 failo = no more slaying
2 failos = no more ltr

advanced hair loss = in many cases 2 failos due to bad skullshape on top of lack of hair (I would estimate 30-50%)

I don't think that being overweight matters at all. Is an overweight guy with hair going to be ok? In most cases yes. Even if he is not tall, he will. Is a bald guy who is in great shape going to have a chance? Probably not. So, I think that being fat should be a 0.1 if being bald is a 1.

If you are in a relationship already, having an ideal penis AND ability to please sexually can prevent a woman from leaving despite shortcomings like hairloss.

But based on your list, my hairloss created 2 failos. Bald and bad head shape. Everything else you listed I believe I pass very well:
Good face - hats get me female attention but as soon as the hat is off its over.
Height - average but its better than short
Weight / frame - I workout 5 times a week and weigh 180lbs. I have abs, decent arms and back/ shoulders and working on improving chest more as its my weak point. I don't skip leg day either. I swim laps for cardio.
Dick size - I'll just say I'm doing great.
Money - completely self sustaining with my own nice house thanks to my career choice that isn't very dependent on looks.

But in the end. First impressions for dating are given from the face and even with a good face, no hair is a big distraction especially with a poor skull.

And people tell me "your standards are too high". No, I only have 1 standard and it's to not be obese. They could even be a little overweight and ill forgive them for it. You could be poor, bad face, bad hygiene, heck even bald and if it means I have some companionship in my life then so be it. But reality is female nature will always kick in. As a bald man you have bad genes and women know it is highly genetic and want to save their children from this curse. This is why a cure is so desperately needed. I seriously believe getting hair again would change my life so drastically.

Yeah so you have 2 failos and you are unfuckable so no ltr for you. Money doesn’t matter, doesn’t count as halo. Gymcel same thing. Only natural wide frame matters. your only halo is height. If you are bald and skullshape is bad your face doesnt exist.
