Im currently taking 1/2 pill of finpecia every day. I really got myself into a huge financial problem, and at the moment money is very very very tight.

So my quesiton is, how effective will this be?

One half of a pill will be 100% effective as a full pill (1mg). You can also save even more money by cutting the pill into fourths which is 90-95% effective as a full pill.

no .5mg is not 100% as effective as 1mg.

The actual difference will be very small, so the advice is still sound, go ahead and take half a pill, it's a good idea if money is tight :)

Personally I'm in the "want every hair I can possibly get" camp.

Oh, same here mate, no question, but if money was tight I wouldn't stress about taking .5mg finasteride a day.

It's probably about 90% as good (or maybe even better), going by the table above...

Oh I agree, it's not 100% as effective, if it was, no-one would bother talking a full pill.

The advice given is still sound though, in my opinion...
