10 years later, am I starting to bald? (Pictures and thread from 10 years ago inside)

Hi all

Firstly, my old thread from 2016 is here - it contains photos from 2014-2016.

The below picture is from today in 2025. I am now almost 33, and I feel that whilst the corners of my hairline are ok, my hair is now more 'see through' from the front. Is this a sign of balding, or could it be something else, as I thought it's normally the corners that recede.

Lastly, if it is balding, can Propecia help this sort of thing? Or should I try something else?

Looks like it has thinned a bit and you have a bit of thinning on the sides of the head. probably retrograde alopecia. finasteride would be perfect for you.

Im gay ur right about only gays pop finasteride. I got a straight friend who is 28 and thinning badly and he got a young girlfriend of age 21-22. He refuse to take finasteride. He dont even use minoxidil.

lemme ask you a question? WHY do you take estradiol? Do you work out? Is it useful against finasteride? I took finasteride for 1 year and 8 months, i got completely bloated, fat as f***, depressed and aromatised estradiol and estrogen for sure

I'm trans and allergic to finasteride/duta. Yes duta bloated my belly too, interestingly my belly fat quickly melted away after starting estrogen, cant even inject there anymore, maybe estrogen improves insulin sensitivity? idk

im only like 2.5 months on hrt and not much of my face has changed

In 2022 i took 100mg bica and valerate pills for 2 weeks and the feminization was so much faster that i looked like a 14 year old in no time, skin was so much softer than now. Things happened so fast that I chickened out and went back to repping.
Tbh I wonder if monotherapy is really just that much slower or i have some dht issue.

I had poor results on monotherapy alone. Only bica and dutasteride solves my issues.
