Hi guys just wanted to give everyone an update from a long term hair loss fighter :). Also have a quick question regarding advice.

So I am now 34. Started balding at 20. Dad a Norwood 6 so pretty sure that is where I'm naturally heading at some point. I took Finasteride 1mg per day and Rogaine 5ml 2 x per day for the first 6 years. Maintained perfectly but had to come off Finasteride as could just not deal with the sexual side effects that started the day after I took the first pill. I had no idea of sexual side effects so nothing to do with it being in my head. Anyway Finasteride is great if you can take it but i'm one of the ones that cant. Since then I have continued on 1ml Rogaine 5% and 1ml minoxidil 15%. It worked well up until about 3 years ago and the progression has now continued. I had a small 1500 graft transplant that has kept it at bay for a couple of years but last couple of months just started to notice the thinning again.

I am prepared to throw the kitchen sink at it excluding Finasteride, Dutasteride and RU due to possibe side effects as still havent properly recovered. I know this makes things difficult without these. Current regimen. Just started everything 2 weeks ago except for the minoxidil
1ml minoxidil 5% in morning + 1ml minoxidil 15% in evening
Lasercomb 3x per week
Derma roller 1mm needle 1 x per week
PRP treatment course of 3 booked , starting next week
Nizoral shampoo 3 x per week

Just ordered some Ell Cranell (topical alfaestradiol). My question is would this be better to apply before or after nightime minoxidil application?I know its relatively weak but feel I need something that may address the scalps DHT even if only a bit. Any help much appreciated

At present only I can tell that the thinning is back but I at this rate I would say it may be evident to others in 6 months to a year

Any help on the question much appreciated

I’ve heard topical liposomal dutasteride can be very good for those who get sides on oral AAs. It doesn’t go systematic as much

There is no question if you reduce scalp androgens/DHT it’s a plus. I use the heavy blockers only topically. I have the pills, but never really took them.
I use a Spirolactone cream on scalp & a topical Eucapil which stays in scalp not bloodstream. I have topical Duasteride, but just mix it with minoxidil.
I’ve tried just about everything.
Try lecithin, nobody talks about it. Some scientific studies. I tried it because some dude said he increased his loads from a dribble to a firehose with lecithin, zinc & pygeum. Side effect hair got thicker too.
He liked sunflower lecithin. There’s also soy lecithin. I got both.
