Hi guys, I'm only 16.5 and already have a receding hairline. I'm currently just about Norwood 2 and it has slowly crept back over the last couple years (I was an early bloomer, armpit hair about age 9/10, facial hair by 12/13).

I want to be able to hold < Norwood 2 until I'm 18 if possible where I'll make the decision whether to buzz or try finasteride (depending if the buzz suits me, which I think it might)

I've currently got minoxidil foam and nizoral and believe I'm going to use the foam once a night on temples / hairline and then nizoral once a week.

Is there anything else I can do, or is that about it without finasteride?

You can use Nizoral. Regenepure NT is also a good shampoo to use on the days you don't use nizoral. Don't take any anti androgens at your age. I wouldn't try RU either.

Hey man, I'm growing thru the same thing and im only 16 too. Still cant believe im balding at 16 but oh well. I've been using minoxidil liquid 5% for exactly 6 months now and my parents told me there is moderate improvement. Ive been on propecia too, 0.25 mg daily. Ive read about the side affects on 16 years old, stop growth and blah blah. Im going to a dermatologist on thursday to ask if its true or not. I will inform you about what i get. Until now i advise u to use minoxidil twice daily.
