Hello, currently I am 16 almost 17 and have been losing hair for around 9 months. In my family the only balding is on my mother’s side but they didn’t start balding until their late 30s. Recently, I crash dieted and consumed roughly 800 calories a day for a month (about 8 months ago). Ever since that my hair has been falling out very rapidly. My temples have receded a lot and all around my head there are thinning areas. I noticed when I put the slightest amount of pressure on any area of hair I am able to pull out 1-5 hairs painlessly. All the hairs I pull out have large flaky white bulbs on the end of them. I feel as if I am losing hope because I am unable to style my hair the way I want with the thinning. Also, when I part my hair there is a great volume of hair missing. Here are a few pictures of my head. Any thoughts on if it’s male pattern baldness or Telogen Effluvium and what to do?

If you're that worried, get rogaine 2%,mens.

zinc and copper: foods high in said micro nutrients such as barley, beets, garlic, pecan, radishes, raisins, seafood.

Fish provide essential fatty acids which keep your hair healthy.

Alternative is to add in supplements from plant based sources as well.

Finally, look into meditation, yoga, exercise, running, biking, sports, more activity. You want to negate cortisol, the stress hormone which will muck your hair.
