Hey guys!
I recently turned 18 around 2 months back.
I have been receeding for some time now. Everyone on my paternal side has amazing hair with no recession while everyone in my maternal side is a Norwood 3 with a distinct v hairline that starts from the middle of their head.

I have not really been worried about my recession until the hair on my right temple developed a bald spot and disconnected from my natural part. The left temple has slight recession from the part.

Until now I have always had longer hairstyles but the dread of my eventual future caused me to get all my hair cut.

Could you guys rate my hairline and give me advice on what I should do now?
Should I go back to the longer style again?

Thanks!

P.S - the longer hairstyles are all from 2016.
P.p.s - I was also diagnosed with sebherroic dermatitis.

I would say your hairline is approaching NW2 on both sides and there is definite recession. You are balding bud and should hop on treatments to try and maintain and maybe even regain lost ground depending on how recent your loss is.
