Had an INSANELY huge forehead my entire life, basically had the same hairline since as far back as I can remember. Lately I’ve noticed it kinda looks thin at temples. What’s your take on it?

EDIT: I’ve included a picture of my hairline when i was about 6 years old. Please note this image as, in my eyes, it looks very similar to my current hairline.

At least your density is great... I have the density of a menopausal woman at the age of 19!

Ahaha rip. Are you on any of the meds? Do you recommend i take anything or is it looking somewhat decent

I am on medications significantly stronger than finasteride/dutasteride... With your hair, the density is great although the hairline could use some improvement. I think you could use a 5AR inhibitor such as finasteride/dutasteride, but I don't think they help with the hairline...

I see... Isn’t thinning at the temples a sign i need meds tho?

It definitely is. Finasteride/dutasteride will most likely maintain your hairline, maybe until a legitimate method for treating hair loss comes out. Although, finasteride/dutasteride alone will do nothing for your hairline, it will just maintain its current condition.

Is it worth nothing my hairline has been like this give or take 1cm for about 3-4 years

You can combine finasteride/dutasteride with topical minoxidil and you could see improvements with your hairline.

I don't use finasteride. I use bicalutamide, dutasteride and estradiol.
Do you experience any side effects with said medications? Also, is temple thinning generally just affecting the hairline? As in, is it something that will affect hair density

I experience many side effects, including: gynecomastia, painful nipples, no sperm production, no more morning/random boners. Temple thinning doesn't effect your overall density .

Obviously that's a joke.

My friend, at 19y, had the exact same hairline ... he's not 25yo and it's just a bit worse. Yeah and what ? Maybe it will be the same with you. You have a good amount of hair with a mature hairline. But nothing to be worried of. Except if you're losing 200-300 hairs everyday.
Keep calm, take pictures every few months ... if its getting a lot worse, you could try finasteride ... and maybe add minoxidil after a year if not enough improvement. But right your hairline is not yet the worst known to man.

Are my temples not noticeably thin? Also, I know the photo of me when I was 6 isn’t very detailed/goodquality but would you say it’s somewhat similar to my current situation

I also have a large forehead and my hairline is similar to yours now after I've relieved some stress related hair loss. Having a large forehead just makes hairlines look worse, but if you look the corners of your hairline they do not really surpass your temple points, which is a good sign. I wouldn't be too concerned, but as always, keep an eye on it.
