Background

Hey guys, I've been on Rogaine foam since this summer. I'm just getting around to making this log now but I basically noticed quite significant cosmetic results about two months into treatment.

Unfortunately the only really comparable pictures I have from that period overstate the results. In the first picture my hair is a little longer and a light source is hitting my scalp making me look very very thin. However regardless of any lighting/hair length bias I know 100% that my hair and specifically the patch of hair thinning improved somewhat significantly in this period.

Regiment for Picture
-Nizoral Shampoo x1/week
-Rogaine Foam x2/day
-Biotin Supplement daily

Current Regiment
-Nizoral Shampoo twice a week (debating doing three times a week)
-Rogaine Foam twice a day
-Castor oil Topically (just just started, not sure about frequency)

Hair Currently
My hair now (7 months later) looks about as good as the 2nd picture still. I have noticed some thinning (relatively acutely and significantly) in the past few days, I'm hoping this is a delayed Rogaine shed. However I am intending on adding new elements to my Regiment.

Products of Interest to me
-low lever laser therapy (expensive, probably ineffective if not useless.. however no side effects)
-Setipiprant (expensive, experimental , seems to have potential, seemingly seriously side effect free)
-Tricomin (aesthetic benefit only)
-Castor oil orally (will be getting on this as soon as I can find proper brand)
-PRP + Acell (more down the line, Cant afford it currently, efficacy in question)
-Soy Isoflavone extracts (supposedly "natural" alternative to propecia, efficacy in question, side effects in question)
-Derma Roller (expensive, will likely purchase relatively soon)
-Topical Spironolactone (expensive, efficacy in question, side effects in question)
-many more

Moving Forward
I am very much interested in hearing feedback on new products/compounds I should give a try. I know the obvious addition would be Propecia/ "anti-androgen". Unfortunately, I do suffer from hypochondria so regardless of the actual risk associated with an "anti-androgen" I do not feel that I am a good candidate for them. I am aware that finasteride/duasteride is the best tool against hairloss, however I currently am not in a mental state to be objective enough to use them. Possibly down the line. I did start balding young (18) and have significant temple recession, I anticipate that my hair is programmed to fall out somewhat drastically.

Ideally, I would love to maintain as much as possible until a new effective treatment comes out and possibly one day get a hair transplant if i'm a good candidate.

So yeah, thanks for the time. I am entirely sure Rogaine Foam and Nizoral thickened up at least one patch in my hairline within two months. I am looking for regiment additions and am pretty much open to anything as long as it wont spike my hypochondria.

PS: I added the same picture twice, just in different file types
