2 Month Shed on Rogaine 5% foam..Need advice.

I have been using Rogaine 5% foam on my hairline (no finasteride) twice a day for 2 months. I have been shedding like crazy since I started it, much more than before. My hairline has been thinning and receding very quickly in the past couple months and its very noticeable (I have been taking pictures). Now I'm not expecting to see results anytime soon, but the fact that the shedding has lasted so long is really scaring me. It has not let up at all, in fact, I think it has progressively gotten worse.

Has anyone else experienced a shed this long from minoxidil? How did it play out? Is there a point where if the shedding does not stop, I should discontinue use? Thanks for hearing me out, any input is appreciated.

i have been on minoxidil 5% foam only....when i started i shed like crazy for the first 10 weeks!!! what looked like thin hair was gone n certain parts of my head was bald!!! but i hang on....by the 12th week i notice my hair started growing back...now i am on my 6th month....dont stop buddy....just keep going...i know it's agonizing but hang on =)

How is it going now? I have the exact same problem I went on it for three weeks and lost massive amounts of hair. I would really like to know what happened with yours.
