2% spironolactone doing nothing

I have been using the 2% spironolactone liquid for almost 2 months and it is actually making my hairline worse. I use a half a dropper on the front of my hairline. Hair is thinning out bigtime and the smell when mixed with minoxidil is a big thumbs down for this product.

Anyone else had any similar experience? I use it every night before bed, I do not use it in the morning. Thought about switching to the 5% cream but no one here seems to have anything good to say about any spironolactone product.

I read where someone posted that the worste shed of the year oocurs in November is there any truth to this? Also how long after a shed do you see re-growth? Maybe I am just shedding off, I had heard that spironolactone can make you shed.

I've been on spironolactone for a month and no good or bad. I shed pretty extensively between july and october. So I guess november isn't that far off.

Two months is not a very long period of time to make a judgement about it? Aren't you supposed to at least give it 4 months or so? So, have a happy skunky New Years, Skunkman!... buwaaahahaha!

Thats just stupid Gardner -LOL- what about the babes at the gym?

Usually you cant tell if something is gonna work a month or two into it. I am losing confidence in spironolactone.

Phooey. Give a new treatment a year before attempting to pass judgement on it. Six months, at the very least.
