Due to a great many B.S. reasons, I cant get my hands on any Rogaine for another week or so and it's been about a week so far, am I in trouble?

Ive been on it for about 4-5 months now.

Some follicles that are very sensitive to minoxidil may shed their hair from shock, but they should regrow again when minoxidil is applied again.

It was discussed that having a few weeks off every year or so could be beneficial to your scalp health and to follicles becoming too dependent on it.

I recently took a 10 day hiatus from most topicals (min, zix, tric . . .).

When I resumed after 10 days I did experience a mini, mini, shed.

So, you should be alright for 2 weeks - but you might also backslide a bit.

2 weeks is not a big gap. you need to stop for 3 months or more to lose your minoxidil grown hairs (see Lee's website).

Personally including many hair transplant patients stop minoxidil for 15 days before and after hair transplant. it didn't have any effect for me.

hey man.. 2 weeks isn't a bad thing I think. Once you stop rogaine all your hairs will fall out eventually that grew with the product(meaning in the months to come). I've never experienced a shed so far on the foam (1 1/2 months) so I don't know. Surely 2 weeks isn't a great thing, but it's not the end of the world everyone responds differently so it's hard to tell. It's not an exact science.
