(20) Is my crown balding or is it a normal twirl?

So as you can see below a picture of my crown, now I don't know if it is a normal twirl or not, there is also a picture of it under direct lighting.
I havent noticed any hair loss around my crown, I think it was always like this though im not sure.

From my fathers side everyone got a head full of hair, from my moms side my grandpa died young so idk but my uncles do have hair, basically NW2 something like that, also my hair is naturally thin.

No significant difference between two photos 1 years apart, so there's that, probably nothing.
If you're really worried go see a competent dermatologist, nothing can be seriously diagnosed with forum posts.

I agree. I have seen guys with big cowlicks who aren't balding and I have seen this progress to a big bald patch. OP should probably just take pics every few months.

I don't see a difference from a year ago. Just keep watching it every 6 months. See you back in 6 months.
