On some days when I'm out it looks like literally everybody has great heads of hair, even older guys, and bald and balding guys just stick out like a sore thumb.

But then on some other days it looks like literally everybody are severely balding, and me with my thinning NW3 feels almost lucky.

wth is going on

The 80% of men who experience hair loss in this statistic includes people like Harry Styles and Tom Cruise who have slight thinning or recession. The people on here who experience life ruining hair loss are a special breed of plebs. They definitely are a minority. Why would they be rejected from society if they weren't?

For me it was the opposite, when I was a fullhead I actually noticed crown and diffuse thinning, I even once actively did Norwood spotting on the teachers in middle school looking for those. I never noticed temple recession unless it was pointed out, or if there was something to compare to (I noticed Bruce Willis’ recession in Die Hard due to knowing him as being bald).

95% of males have hair loss by age 50 normies dont know what minor hair loss looks like
I agree, I'd actually go one step further and say that at most 1% of men don't experience hair loss over the course of their life time* and tbh I can only think of a single example, ronald reagan.

*assuming an average life expectancy and discounting age related diffuse loss which tends to only affect density by as much as 10%

Look up Glenn beck. Conservative radio host.

...think about it

you are not a special snowflake
Except most balding is in the form of just a receding hairline and isn't life ruining. I wonder what percentage of men hit a high norwood by the time they are 50.

Technically correct, but practically it makes a huge difference whether you thin at age 50 or go norwood 6 at age 20. A needlessly generalizing statement with little explanatory power.

yeah yeah we get it, you all have been robbed of your youth... not a day goes by without anyone mentioning it...
its still case by case, i dont think that people dont want to go bald at 50 either...
the usual “i dont mind going bald at 35” argument is nonsense, they wouldnt want go bald at that age either...

honestly i couldnt even tell you peoples age when i see balding or thinning... dudes usually look older than they are anyway and also: i dont care...

luckily there are a few things young people can do in this day and age, noone really has to be bald (lets say look bald),unless they refuse any sort of treatment/help...
