Hi there, I've been dealing with a receding hairline since I was about 17. I've always had long hair with a fringe so its hard to recall what my hairline was like when I was 14/15/16. As a kid I didn't have a straight hair line, it was a bit curved with a cowslick on one side. I've always had a pretty fat fore head haha.
The past few months I've settled on the fact that I'm going bald and was mentally prepared to shave it when the time comes, assuming it would be in a year or so. However, now I'm not so sure as I recently found loads of images of my hairline starting from when I was 17 and it appears to be the exact same as it is now, I would argue it looks a bit better now.
I went through a massive shed last year due to a lot of stress, depression, I would roll my hand through my hair and there would be like 30 strands stuck to my hand so my hair got pretty thin overall. It is starting to become a lot healthier and a bit thicker again. I'm at a much better place mentally and physically now and If I run my hand through my hair there's maybe one strand, even if I do it multiple times. I never really looked after myself properly before maybe summer last year, would have a bad diet, bad skin as you can see in some photos etc
My dad hairline has gone back a tiny bit but it isn't that bad, some people in my family like my dads uncles and cousins do have a receding hairline though they are like 40 50 etc

If I'm not going fully bald then I can get away with having short sides and long at the front as I always have and I plan to grow a beard. Whatever will be will be, I can work with what I'm given, just wanted to get some opinions Cheers
