Hey all! I’m a 21 year old male and I’m a little concerned about my hairline. I know that if I want to get treatment or anything, it’s best to catch this early. But then again, I know that a mature hairline is a thing. So I’ve decided to seek advice from the experts. What do you guys think? Cause for concern? Or unnecessary worry. I’m happy to post more photos if required, and in terms of family genetics, no balding for my maternal grandfather and my uncles, but my father and paternal grandfather have fairly advanced (Norwood 4-5) balding. Thanks for the help!

There's definitely some temple recession going on, so now would be a good time to start treatment. If you use a man bun often, you may want to avoid using it too much, or not tying your hair too tight, because you also seem to have some traction alopecia.

Yeah, I figure it’ll probably be a good idea to start looking into some treatment. For now, it’s just a classic widows peak, doesn’t really show at all when my hair isn’t tied back, but it definitely could worsen. Might cut back on the bun as well, used to use it a lot when younger, but only usually use it when running these days
