So,here is the Deal: I have been on finasteride for 2 months. The issue with my hair is the fact that whenever It gets a bit greasy,i can see thru the hair strands, mainly at the front of the hairline, with no crown thinning, apparently. When my hair is dry, there is no visible diffuse pattern, unless i take a picture with the flash on. Based on these pictures alone, what would be your guess?

I have Fine hair, but It wanst diffused when i was Younger.

My hair is quite dry on last and third picture.

I’m no expert , but I doubt that’s diffuse thinning or male pattern baldness .
I always love it when someone tells me some version of this self-deprecating kind, "I'm no cartographer" but if you are headed to DC, you might try taking 95 up to DC and asking there".

Or," I am no nutritionist but an all sugar diet seems unhealthy but no, it won't affect your hair for at least six to nine months and even then, don't worry. It will only be Telogen Effluvium!

So this is not balding for you?
Not yet and not predictably since I see no "maturing" hair line. Your very ability to wear it long is your best confirmation as to not being balding because balding white males typically end up with hobo hair if we try to "fool" people and wear it long and arranged to hide thinning. Even in my dispiriting pic, many might quibble as to whether I was balding or bald in general but the hair quality drops along with the viability of follicles so it won't work long-term. Here are pics of me at 17 and then maybe 20 where crown thinning was observed and my part looked wide; then one of me hiding my dermatitis which goes along with being balding hand in glove but you can see my hobo-ish like hair when I tried to wear it long and then six years later in the last pic below where purportedly I looked 30's again with hair but also beard removal.

I have the perfect response to that question and I copied another guy with great hair named Jesus.

Are you tranny, Janey?

"Thou sayest". Me, I am just in it for the hair and what purportedly comes with it. It's not just first class; it's a better way of life living the experience of having hair like Mick had from 1968 through 1973 when the mullet hair look came in. <shudders for Keith and Mick>

what bothers me most is that every single picture I've seen of yours your hair is always damp in greasiness

Wow . No need for that .
But isn't that true? I just said that because he never posts pictures of his hair dry with the same angles/lighting, so whatever he's using on his hair or if it's his natural greasiness, is making the pictures impossible to evaluate.

It implies lack of grooming. Some guys are afraid to wash and even pat dry because so many hairs seem to come out. The point is probably correct that for most people, oily or greasy hair makes hair look thinner not thicker.

Here you go brotha. Pics with dry hair. Last one IS wet hair. Been on finasteride for 2 months and 10 days, skipping a few days. I feel like my hair is getting better, might be Just placebo tho

First pic looks fire and second pic you look like a nw0. The third and fourth are... ehm... concerning, but it could've always been like that. No one could spot that you are losing your hair anyways. Just keep your hair clean.
