Sounds like male pattern baldness. No one on this site would be doing you a favor by neglecting the reality just to ease your mind. It's pretty much medicate or bust. Sorry bro.

Sorry if it seemed like that.Of course i did not ask for a favor. It just seemed strange to me that every family member had far better hair than me, at my age and at least for a decade later.
I asked because i wanted more opinions.

It's male pattern baldness

You will be completely bald soon

Propecia (Finasteride) + Minoxidil + time (at least one year) OR

Going bald.

Choice is yours.

Btw. One permanent side effect of aspirin is death (internal stomach bleeding)

Your one hope is that it's low thyroid that's doing it to you. (As medication can correct hair loss from that).

Your hair loss is advanced.

Hate to say it, but it will become a Norwood 4/5 in your thirties if that's the rate it is now.

Wasn't trying to be a dick. And I did delete my original response.

There's only so much time hair follicles have before they're dead.

If you accept it, that's OK as well, it's your choice.

If you want to go back to A Norwood zero scalp, you really need to start
some hair loss medication now. There's no guarantee of course.

I've taken quite a lot of medications for my hair, with the exception of estrogen. That's going to be
my next step.

The reason I'm doing this now, is because I DELAYED serious medication.

Regarding your older, "optical illusion" post:
I wrote "It took him some seconds to make the diagnose and i just want to double check it.Deep inside i dont want it to be male pattern baldness and of course it affects me but even without that, 30 seconds are not enough for me to accept something life changing."

It seems that it's the most popular part of my thread.
Who wants to be bald? most people here don't want to be bald.
I'm not a dermatologist and i don't have experience on such topics. It was my first visit to a dermatologist and it seemed weird that in seconds he said "oh you have male pattern baldness".
But i'm not stupid, neither i'm asking for someone to write something false.
All i asked for is a second opinion.
Growing up i've been hearing that baldness is hereditary. "Your hair will be as ypur father's hair"..it took me by surprise since my father has a respectable amount of hair for a 54 year old man.Almost same hair with me, at age 22.I'm trying to adapt to the new information, and learn what's right and what's wrong.
I don't know how to react to people with hundreds of posts here, that are making fun of something that i wrote.

Thanks for the second reply!
Although i don't know if i'll say "yay! It's hypothyroidism" if thats the case :)

@Pacey123

I don't know if the aspirin comment was right. But i get what you mean..
the question though, remains the same. Can anyone guarantee that i won't have permanent side effects?

No one can guarantee you that, you might even die to a stroke tomorrow.

BUT, i can guarantee you to go bald without treatment eventually.
