3,5 months on propecia - side effects

Hi mates,

I am on Propecia for like 3,5 months. I am a bit worried about side effects I am experiencing since.

Sometimes, like 1/2 days in 1/2 weeks, I feel tenderness in my testicles. At the same time I feel lower back pain (it is connected, i think). Funny thing is, after ejaculation it disappears most of the times.

1. Is this harmful?
2. And will this side effect go away after continuing treatment?
3. Perhaps, can this be a symptom of something else than the medicine propecia?

If it's not harmful, I really want to continue the treatment, because I think it is beginning to help me.

Please respons if you can answer my questions. I'm not scared to see a doctor, but I think the ppl here can help me too

3. Perhaps, but I doubt so. Pain in the testicles is listed as one of the side effects of Propecia. If it bothers you cut down the dose to 0.5mg and see what happens. I, too, experienced some pain in the testicles but that eventually went away and I don't have any sides whatsoever anymore. Stick it out.

Good to hear. With 1/2 days in 1/2 weeks I mean: I experience tenderness/pain like 1 day a week, or 1 day in 2 weeks.

About when should the side effects be gone? Still having these side effects at, for example, 6 months after beginning is not normal, i guess?
