Hey guys,
I've been using propecia for 3.5 years, minoxidil for 2.5 years, and recently started Nizoral 1%. Is there anything any of you can suggest for me to make up for any potential loss of effectiveness with the finasteride (as I've learned on here that it possibly loses its effectiveness over time)? I was thinking about starting taking some vitamins such as b6, zinc, biotin. Any comments and suggestions would be appreciated though.

I don't really see any need to preemptively confront Propecia's diminished returns. I know this goes against the first tenet of hair loss philosophy. But if Propecia has worked for you for 3.5 years, why throw something unproven into the mix? Believe me, you'll know when it stops working.

Also, if Propecia works for me for a long period of time (such as 3, 4, or 5 years) and then loses its effectiveness, I'm switching to Avodart. I'm only gonna live once, so I'm not going to sweat hair loss too much (meaning I'm not going to dwell on it or mope about it), but I will fight it with the big guns.
