Hey guys, need some advice if I take this into a hair transplant procedure now.
I am 37, been noticing the thinning of hair slowly since I would say 33. Main treatment I've used was Minoxidil and Finastride 1MG combination for the past 3 years.
In the past year I went off Minoxidil as I just don't enjoy that I felt it was ruining the texture of my hair so I'm currently just using Finastride 1MG a day.
I have in my diet Biotin tablets too but of course I don't expect them to help massively here.

Attached is my hair - the main issue is the temples and I do feel slowly it's going deeper.

I am considering a hair transplant to fill in the temples mainly - Some other people have recommended trying dermarolling on my scalp as last option before deciding to do a hair treatment, any thoughts guys? I do want to get a proper flowing hair back again, I do alot of fitness modelling and it is a dampener to my mood to having to style my hair all the time the right way or sometimes using black fibre concealer.

Any advice appreciated, if I do get a hair transplant I'd like to stay in the UK and get it done here due to ease of access even if I have to spend more than abroad

Note: I want to add that I'm a regular gym goer, clean diet, workout 5-6x a week. I drink daily a scoop of protein powder and also consume a scoop of creatine daily. I've heard on and off things about protein powder and creatine, but nothing certain. If it does effect or it does not, hair loss in males.

Any one please?
I would try microneedling. I just started but you will need a growth stimulant like minoxidil. The foam is easy enough to apply and it thickens the hair like mousse. Otherwise get a hair transplant. I have been putting it off for over a decade or more. I do regret doing that. I think go for the transplant as you not going to get as good as result with just microneedling. I just think you should not limit yourself to the UK. If you are going to do this, go to one of the best. It's a life time investment. I would travel to wherever I need to to get the best. Right now it's hard because of the new variants of the virus.

Because at the time I was too afraid to shave my head and I knew for the best results that was necessary and I was told by so many people I don't need one so I guess I just settled with what I had. Now looking back I realize it was a mistake. Or maybe it wasn't if it went bad. Hard to know. Honestly, I would say the same about your hair. For you age, in the first photo you hair looks decent for your age. Most people will say you have great hair.

What brand Finasteride are you using? Also how much gram creatine per dosage? As anything over 5grams will cause Hairloss.

So you’ve been on finasteride since 34? And has it halted your hair loss ? Or have you continued to lose ?

I only ask as I’m 34 and was on 0.5mg of finasteride the last 4 years and feel as though I am now starting to lose again so last month upped my dose to 1mg. I’m interested to know if it’s halted your hair loss completely as if it has I would stay on it until you’re 40 before getting a transplant as most surgeons don’t want to do it for under 40s as your hair loss could progress rapidly before then …
