I know that the topic of sulforaphane has already been raised and, apparently, has not survived to this day, and I would not care about her, if not for one but, I was interested in the result that the person in the photographs received. It is obvious that his hair is trying to grow and it grows on bald patches that are usually difficult to treat. Also, on the downside, this hair apparently cannot become full, but I do not know if this person is taking minoxidil or finasteride, perhaps in combination, this would give a significant effect. It is also possible that the dose is too low.
The idea is that dihydrotestosterone is metabolized by 3α-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase type III (3α-HSD), encoded by the AKR1C2 gene, forming 5α-androstane-3α,17β-diol (3α-diol). That is, in fact, it naturally kills DGT, with its proper amount.
Sulforaphane, in turn, increases the activity of 3α-HSD.
One thing is clear, no one has tested it at higher doses, so who knows, but I think it deserves some attention and it could very well be an additional thing that could help us.
I mentioned in another thread that my hair loss is not typical and I can test this treatment fairly quickly, but I need to know where to get the right dose. Growing broccoli at home, this option is not interesting to me, and the dose will be too small.
