4 years of success with propecia, now, it looks like the end

i am facing a new problem these days after 4 years of using propecia with no side effects at all, good positive minding but now it's outpassing me. About 4 month ago i started to have pain around the bladder, i suspect of course the prostate and testicular pain including the tube between each others (in fact this tube seems to be the main pain)

It starts after doing a lot of hiking in the mountain, i thaught it was this intence amount of sport that cause the problem so i stop the sport and the pain stayed.

I am taking propecia at 1 mg/day and the foam twice a days.. (foam since about 1 year)

So i have make a lot of test, first i have stopped the foam for 1 weak with absolutly no insidence over the pain.

Went to the hospital to get some ecos and x rays for the digestive system with, they say my intestins were fully packed.. big waste of time at the hospital. (They refuse to get interest to my reproductive system because of the small amounts of mens having side effects in regards of merk's statistics) Anyways i am searching the internet trying to find similar pain and i am finding nothing similar.

So i have stoped Propecia 3 days a first time 1 month ago, the pain disppead at like 75% and now i have stop it for 2 days and i am feeling so much better. I tell you it's a matters of minutes after taking a pill and this pain comes back. To describe this pain, it looks like if you squise your skin or put some kind of grip on your skin and leave it there.

I feel that in the interior and all around the tube and testicules. Testicule become sencible. It looks like if i had become alergic to finasterid.

I might also consider a "prostatis", if the pain keep's on with no administration of the finasteride, ILL TRY to find some professionnal in the matter. Maybe it's a simple infection i can cure with an antibiotic. I must say this would make me happy to be cured with a simple antibiotic. I Read that you can't get an acurate reading with a simple urine bactery culture for infection in prostate.. well it looks more complicated. I must say that i had take a sevral times sexualy infections tests too that reveals nothing at all. I don't know if they are acurate either.

Well i am not taking the finasterid for 1 weak of so to look if the pain dissapeared at 100%, Now after 2 days i feel that there is something anyways hurting but a lot less then with the administration of finasterid. My Leydig cell must have had a hard time with the inibitor and they are tired now, dunno.

At least, i can say, long term using of this medication still do a very good job for hairloss, the medication is still very effective, people are unable to tell my age they don't understand my physionomy, very interesting reactions i can tell you! They truly are confused.

Well now i am mentaly preparing to stop propecia, prepearing for the worst. Like if an asteroid was comming over the planet earth! But with good preparation it's ok !

please take my advice and stop the pill now,i swear that pill is poison,it fucked me up for a year of taking it after stopping it im finally back to 100% after 3 months

I might have no choice to stop the pill anyways and lose the hairs cuz it hurts my testicules, tube of testicule and prostate. To say it's poison, well i am not affraid of taking this medecin when i think of life esperence in Africa. In here, we eat cancerous ingredients in food, we eat hormones in the meat and milk, we take antibiotics, we breed pollution in the air and what else, propecia, v****, modified vegetables and people live up to 80 years. So taking propecia might be poison but my life esperence is still 75 years and up.

I conclude it's not very dangerous. Eating garbadges in africa is poisonous, the worst of the worst that can happen is to get cancer because we don't know the long term effect of those new hi tech drugs. But it's inevitable were moving forward and there will be more cancer and mutations of cells, we study way to cure these effects. So i am proud to be the first in human history to take the very first long awated medecine to prevent the falloff of hairs. This is someting !

But the truth is: Now we live 75 + and 50 years ago it was like 50 -. Let's say i get cancer today, this draws 20 years of my life, 75 - 20 =55. I still live 5 years more then 50 years ago. lol. Very home made statistics! But in the hospital they say merck's statistique say almost no mens get side effect on propecia and, they saying to me it's almost impossible to get sick with peopecia. Lol equality of stupidities.

For 3 days now i didn't take the finasterid and i have 3/4 less pain, damnit. It's not in the food i eat. I still feel a little pain in the tescitules and guess what ? i am getting an testicule echo tomorrow morning, it's going to be a lot of fun for sure. I am going to put the results in here for all of you.

Some people would recommend saw palmetto as a decent replacement, others say it does not work, my experience with it is pretty good, but worth a try, you may still lose a little initially. proxiphen, revivogen, spironolactone, plenty of other products that work to save your hair, going off finasteride does not have to mean the end of your hair loss fight.

Petchsky your not wrong at all, giving me the idea of considering the use of Revivogen (if i can get some shipped in canada) with the foam witch is a pretty impressive product too. I could use this for a few month to let my genitals rebuild their original strenght and then switch back to propecia until the pain's strikes again, then got back on revivogen.

It would be a fair solution i think.. and a great medical experiment to share in here.

I will look forward to get some revivogen, so i would continue with this temporary DHT inibitor + the foam. But i feer the ichiness of the scalp, anyways a men should try to know.

I ve just order my revivogens scalp therapy! Testing will begin maybe around next weak end. Since then i will not use propecia and see how all this goes!

REGIMEN
I am using rogain foam at the moment twice a day, but with propecia i use it like 1 to 2 times a day depending on how tired i am. At a 1/2 (sometimes 1/4) of a cup a day with propecia is more then enough to get results. But i use it twice a day like 4 days a week and the rest of the time 1 time a day.

ROGAIN IS IS DANGEROUS IF IT CUT ON FIRE DIRECTLY ON YOUR HEAD
I get no side effects at all from rogain foam. But it's dangerous stuff, i put some on fire the other day, (off my head please!) If you put the rogain on your hair and it caught on fire because of a defect hair dryer it's going to be really bad.

I CAN'T GET KIRKLAND'S FOAM IN CANADA
I see you use the kirkland's Foam, i can't get it inhere in canada. It's difficult to get those products . I have to buy them on Ebay and there is no kirkland's pruoducts at all, only rogain foam. Somebody should start a shipping business with canada lol.

TESTICULAR PAIN VS SPORT
And i came back to the gym today, i was happy to do my workout again with no testicular pain. Still, i feel there is something wrong inthere but it's stable. After 30 minutes of running on a carpet, (it was a lot of inside moving for them) in a almost 1 year pair of boxer i feelt no significant augmentation of pain after. It's some kind of a proof that the sport is not the cause of the pain.

Ok i had the exam at the hôpital, il was a waste of time again. I can't belive these people study so much years to look mad like that. They say i have a "kist" on the right testicule, and there is nothing to do with that because it's too small and it's not cancer. So it stays there.

Now it's been 4 ou 5 five days witout propecia, and i feelt some pain today but it went off quickly, it's barely noticable. Strange. I feel very great right now. Honnestly i feel sad to say i have this probleme because of propecia in this enthousiastic forum. It would be good to start back propecia for a test, to see if the pain strikes back in great strenght, this would back up the theory even further.

Has you know from the previous message i have order the Revivogen and i had very good service with them. I had to take a picture of my credit card and sign a paper with authorisation for them to charge me on my credit card because i am in canada and there are in US and they have no ways to make some kind of authentifications with canadian services. Well 10 minutes after i sent them the images and signature they call me back at home to confirm that all was OK and my product was sent by fedex to me. The girl was very polite and professionnal. My product shoud arrive at the beginning of next week (i hope). I will be reviewing it with you of course.

We have nothing at all in here in canada, i don't know a single person who take propecia. At my local pharmacy they have 4 prescriptions of propecia. That is not a lot for a local pharmacy in a 126 000 persons city. We have no rogain foam in here and no revivogen, no tricomin. Nothing. We are pharmaticaly retarded lol.

REVIVOGEN REVIEW

Hello! so i have recieved my Revivogen pakage and i must say i am happy with it. The first thing i can say about all this is = Quality.

Si i have a few images to show you the product in details, i think it might be enteresting if you want to get this product to see what it's actualy look like.

So, image #1, the shipping was done by fedex, i had a tracking code and all the thing + e-mail confirmation that i have recived my pakage on second attempt of delivery. I have payed like 20$ for shipping and i had very good service. Has you can see, i have recieve my revivogen in a strong box with "sryren" chops in it, i mean.. it's the best shipping pakage i ever saw, 100% pollution but there is not a scar on my 130$ value item. (89$US + 20% dollard ajustement CAD + 20$ shipping)

This is what the product look like WITOUT a shaking first, i took a sample on the top of the bottle, you can clearly see that yo have to shake well before utilisation.

This is what the product look after shaking, is dark red, i wonder if my scalp is going to be red like that after a few days of using the product, we will see.

PROPECIA
During the time i have wated for Revivogen, i took 1mg propecia per 2 days on the morning. The pain comes on the afternoon of the next day (the day i took nothing) I feel it at the prostate but i don't have anymore harm at the testicules. It's very strange i don't really know what to say about it. The only thing i can say is that the pain come and go has i take or not the pill.

REVIVOGEN
I have took the Revivogen this morning with no rogaine foam. I wanted to see if i had any reactions to the product alone. The result is no side effects at all for the first day of utilisation.

And this is for 1ml of the product, they say on the box you can use .5 or 1 ml i took 1 because it's actualy hard to feel the product when you put it on your hairs. With .5 i felt nothing at all, so i used 1 ml. I put the product on wet hairs after my shower.

REVIVOGEN SMELL
The smell is way better than rogain foam, very nice low smelling product.

REVIVOGEN + FOAM
Tonight i am putting the foam alone, tomorrow morning i might use foam et revivogen on the same time. I wonder if it's necessary to use foam twice à day, i will have to make mid term tests to know if i can do that.

CONCLUSION
I hope my customer product review and point of view was interesting to you. It's not always esay to say, i am willing to pay 100 bucks for something i never saw..well for canadian people like me it was the case!

You could try propecia at a lower dosage like i did. The testicle pain dissapeared for me when i stopped taking full doses.

First to stop the 1 mg finasterid for 4 days, the pain was gone at 75%
Took back .25 mg for 1 weak, the pain came back at almost same strenght.
Stopped again the propecia for 4 days, the pain got out at 75%
And taking 1 mg finasterid once per 2 days. The pain got back again.

It's useless.. now i am taking revivogen and form for 3 month, If there is some extra chimicals in my reproductive genitals, they might be fully eliminated out during this period with no medications at all, then start again propecia.

Anyways my plan is to alternate between propecia and revivogen in periods of 3 months. It Revivogen works well after 3 months (it sould be better then propecia) then ill keep on with the topical stuff, if not, i get back on propecia for 3 months.

I must say i am very very very happy to take Revivogen instead of propecia. Mentaly, it makes a HUGE difference, i am feeling very much free and confortable with that.

Anyways it's just the beginning, in a few years there is going to be some better products and cheaper. Maybe 1 topical including DHT inibitors and minoxidil. This would be nice.
