Someone just emailed me at myspace. He says he is 26 and got some temple ressession shortly after trying steroids. He stopped, got on finasteride, and then switched to avodart when it first became available. He used minoxidil inconsistently, but that was the only other treatment he used. He says his hairs in front have gotten a bit thinner in 8 years and he wants advice on what he can add to his regimen.
So looks like Avodart is not strong enough to completely stop male pattern baldness in its tracks, at least for this guy. I wonder if he is drying to fight the first 1/4 inch of loss some people call "maturing". I'll ask him.
