As the title says, Im 6 months into using Rogaine on a receding hairline. What I have noticed is not much hair regrowth, but DEFINITELY thickening of the hair already there as well as a halt to the recession. I started with liquid minoxidil but had to switch to foam recently due to unbearable itch. I am hoping this works just as well. Im also using Nizoral shampoo.
My question is 2 fold:

1. At 6 months, is this the most I can expect to see from Rogaine? No regrowth but no more recession.
2. Other than androgens (which I do not want to take at this time), is there anything else I can add to my protocol (S5 Cream, Tricomin, etc)?

Thank you!

I'm at month 20 and still getting better. I'm also, literally half your age.

Thank you for your response. So, you say you're 20 months in on Minoxidil and still seeing improvements with it? Beyond just maintenance?
