Hey guys, I've been on 1.25mg finasteride every day, Nizoral 2% twice a week since February last year. Had some really good results and regrowth, all the thin patches filled right in along the hairline. However since Feb/March this year (the 1 year mark) I have been shedding a ton. Like 30-50 hairs on my hands when I shampoo. The difference now is that the shed hairs are all healthy, dark long hairs, unlike at the start of treatment when they were weak and colourless. It doesn't seem to have any visible effect on my hair thickness as it looks about the same as it did at the start of the shed. But I am very concerned and scared seeing so many hairs on my hands for about 5 months and not knowing what's going on. Can anyone advise if this is normal? When this might stop? Good/bad/etc.? I never really experienced a shed this big/long so far. Thanks.
