you say that finasteride is a last resort...but it's probably going to be too late when it's "last resort" time. finasteride isn't a magic bullet that will reverse all hairloss and make you an NW0 all over again. 40% of finasteride successes are just MAINTAINING what you have. You might see some added re-growth. Hell, let's say that it regrew 2000 hairs...but 2000 hairs on the scalp of a badly diffused NW6 isn't going to look like hardly anything.

90% of the hairloss battle is simply maintaining what you currently have. Think of those follicles like a heart. Sure, you can use a defibrillator to shock a heart back to life after it's stopped beating, but it's a WHOLE lot easier to just keep it beating in the first place :)

I've been taking Finasteride from them for the last 3 years. My hair loss went from 200 hairs a day to about 25, so I know it wasn't just a sugar pill or something like that. They have online support for questions, and they told me this: "We have more than one supplier for the same medication and we ship out according to the availability of the stock. We carry generic Propecia manufactured by GenPharma, Sunrise, Cipla and Intas Lab Pvt." They have a price-match guarantee as well, so you really can't get a lower price anywhere.

2 money saving tips if you go there...
1: Let's say you want 90 caps. Add the 30 caps to your cart instead. It will take you to a checkout page, but it will also give you a chance to upgrade your order to 90 pills for $7 cheaper. Same goes for if you want to get 360, add 180 to your cart first
(this only works for the 1mg pills, not the 5mg)

2: Use the promo code Q52EM37T during checkout for another 10% off. That's my promo code that I got for being a return customer, so feel free to use it :)
(this works for anything you buy there)

Here's my story, so you know that I'm trying to sell you on the product...not the website :)
viewtopic.php?f=30&t=65594

(I started at .5mg and 3 years later upped it to 1.25mg recently)

I like the natural approach you're taking.

I don't see a difference in the pictures except the frontal hair being combed differently.

But Keep trying, I guess it takes time to see some regrowth, especially with unproven treatments.

I can promise you that you won't see regrowth without adding finasteride to the equation. finasteride is what keeps your hair follicles from being attacked 24/7 by DHT, which is what kills them off.

You need finasteride or some other 5-Alpha Reductase Inhibitor/Anti-Androgen in order to fight DHT and stop it destroying what hair you have left.

Rogaine is a great confidence booster with it's a initial boost of regrowth but essentially it's only good for slowing the clock down on your male pattern baldness allowing time to consider your options.

You should try finasteride, even just a 1week trial, as the tolerance rate is pretty high. Otherwise try spironolactone and/or Revivogen as next to finasteride/dutasteride these are probably the most effective commercially available anti-androgens out there.

Hey man looking good so far, and only 5 months thats quick. Why abandon lasers if they seem to be working ?? I feel you about the whole hormone thing. My new plan is going to be all Laser/spironolactone/Nizoral and possibly supplements. Also clays everynow and then.

Alot of guys on this forum have had alot of success with finasteride......if you're gonna do it definatly do a low dosage. I just would hate to see you stop doing what you're doing now if its having an effect just after 5 months.......hell even if the lasers are keeping you where you are now at a halt then id say its a good regimen.

You can clearly see that the density in where he parts his hair is thicker than before. Results take time my friend, and you're picture shows more density. The way I see it, its clearly regrowing hair and I bet its probably keeping the rest at bay. Id say all in all :bravo:

I've decided to discontinue the laser therapy. I'm going to replace it with Rogaine foam, nizoral, and head&shoulers 2in1. I'll add in Finasteride and/or topical spyro later on if progress isn't seen.

how hard is it todo a laster treatment everyday or every other day? give it 12 months. finasteride helped me iwasnt as bad as you but you need to take something.

for $150 per month you could have been using propecia + rogaine which are proven methods for helping with hairloss.

I know taking a pill that affects your hormones is something to spend some time mulling over but the longer you wait....

Go the whole hog and add in dutasteride,i've seen stats whereby its more effective than finasteride in the frontal area. If you suffer side effects then you could drop your dossage to finasteride, simples.

Every time you get in a car you have a 2.8% chance of being involved in a car accident. I don't feel the need to say, "Hey, just so you know...we might get in a wreck on our way to the store." every time my wife and I got shopping.

You don't have to believe the stat...but tell me if you have a chance of getting in a wreck every time you drive your car?

Ya, you do. It might not be 2.8, it might be 10%, it might be .8%...but there's still a chance.

Oh lord....that's a real knee-slapper. I can just imagine how this would go over in my house

"Hey, wifey...I'm not gonna have sex with you for a month in hopes that my hair will stop falling out"
"Really? Because you think that's going to stop your hair from falling out? So...who are you cheating on me with?"
"No, really. I heard from this one guy on a forum that not busting a nut will cure your baldness!!"
"Sure. So....who's the other woman?"

Seriously, busting a nut has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with why you're balding. Wow, that makes Fred's "natural remedies" look like genius by comparison :woot:

Excellent result for Rogaine and further proof that lasers are a complete scam (if it really needed further proof).

Sorry you had to learn the lesson the hard way, but congrats on your success :)

Not that i'm any sort of advocate of laser hair therapy but I do get the feeling that his amazing and quick success might have something to do with the laser hair therapy. Not that it caused hair growth as it obviously didn't but, perhaps improved the condition of his scalp so that when he did start *real treatment* things got great, and fast.
