5mg of Proscar vs 1 mg Merck propecia

Is there any evidence that 5 mg of proscar is mnore effective than 1 mg of merck propecia?

I have been on merck's version for almost 9 yrs and see that it is losing some of it's effectiveness. I am thinking of switching. What do you guys think?

I am wondering if the .25 each pill will make that much more difference vs the standard propecia of 1 mg, 1 pill.

Wrong, someone does know the answer to that question... read and learn from the following.

You can take even less than 0.25 and inhibit nearly the same amount of DHT.
