So before I started propecia, I was losing a lot of hair in the shower - to give you an idea, I've probably lost about 70% of the hair on top of my head in the last 2 years.
Since taking propecia, my hair loss has definitely slowed a little, but I'm at the point now where I haven't seen any more reduction in the amount of shedding in the past few months.
If I haven't seen an imrovement in the amount of shedding in the last few months, is there any hope that it will eventually stop the shedding? I'm fairly certain that the shedding is from male pattern baldness, and not the propecia. I've been contemplating switching to dutasteride lately, and just need some advice.
I think i'm going to go to the doctors as well, just to see if there's anything else that might be affecting my hairloss besides mbp - but I can't see it - since I'm losing most of the hair on top of the head. Also, stress has never really been a factor.
