6 months on Finasteride- Support needed

6 months on Finasteride and still shedding. Only using finasteride, 1mg a day.

Is this normal? anyone else experience this and can offer any suggestions or hope that it may stabilise?

All you can do is give it a few more months, then I would consider other medications like dutasteride, oral minoxidil, RU, etc.

Would the use of nizoral help finasteride do it’s job?

Would the use of nizoral help finasteride do it’s job?

It can help with hair loss but it doesn't interact really with finasteride directly. Ketoconazole is a very weak antiandrogen, but its main effect is reducing inflammation in the scalp to promote a healthier environment for hair to grow.
