Hey guys, I have been using HairMax Plus Minoxidil (5%) for the past 6 and a half months. I have been using it once daily before sleeping. I am not sure if I have regrown any hair or if the hairfall has lessened. I have attached a picture which shows what my hair looks like an hour after application of minoxidil. Wet, so more bald patch shows but the reason I am posting is so people know what my pattern is. Can anyone guide me methods to find out where I stand? Lastly, I have been using TRESemme shampoo (pro vitamin b5) which is for color treated hair. I haven't dyed my hair. Is it dangerous? Kindly guide me, someone.

Dude! DO NOT apply Minoxidil right before going to bed! the best time for using it is in the morning after a little hair wash (after the hairs are dried up completely)!
And my advice to you: DO NOT use minoxidil at all but if you did you're gonna use it for the rest of your life EVERY single day because as soon as you drop it, it'll make your hair loss WORSE by 100%! so go ahead and decide whether you want to use this sh*t or not my friend! it made my situation worse and I've gone totally bald just like Jason Statham at the age of 26 and I look like an oldy!
Thanks

Hey there, Mor. Can you tell me why applying it before sleeping isn't preferred? It's not possible for me to apply it in the morning since I have classes, it's sticky and my scalp shows after application.
Also, the picture I posted in my question, look at that. It's after I applied minoxidil. I uploaded one in this reply too. This was without minoxidil. What do you think of my situation?

I truly don't know it myself that why it has been said not to use it before bed time and even not wear a hat after the use, actually it is one of my own questions too but never went to dig it up!
and yeah I can understand your problem that hairs get sticky after the application, I had the same problem but I didn't care about it much and it went away as I got balder and balder:D anyhow I think you should go and find a quick-drying minoxidil that is not greasy which I think you'll find one for sure

i use it every night before bed. i mean, if you use it like 5 min before you put your head on the pillow it will get on the pillow. but 30min or more? sure, ive been doing it for a year. i never use it in the morning, only at night, like you. i use twice the recommended amt. for 1 application, considering i only use it once a day. its helped me, i have a bit more hair than i did when i started... which is a good thing considering a year has passed and i was definitely losing it. my hair is kinda like yours. however im in my 40s.
