9 months on finpecia

So i have been on finpecia for 9 months now and i have not noticed any of my hair on top of my head growing back. No regrowth from what i can tell.

I don't fit the basic norwood scale. My temples have receded a bit, and i was definitely concerned about that but they have darkened in.

Its just the vertex and the top of my head is thinning. Diffuse thinning all over.

Whats going on? Also i am beginning to shed like crazy and look even balder at 9 months then at the baseline.

This is my second major shed. I shed like crazy in the beginning of the treatment.

I hope i am not part of the 40% that doesn't see growth.

only 17% continue loosing hair. Is it 40% that don't see re-growth. Now that you had 9 months on finpecia, I think it would be worth the money to get on proscar 1.25 mg, US pharmacy with prescription, for one year, $300 total, and probably not much more than you are spending now, and see what results that gives. Dutasteride is the main overseas deal. Finasteride does not get a lot cheaper if you cut the proscar in forths.

I am on fincar cut up in 4ths.

It costs me about 90 bucks a year.

Hopefully things get better.

many people here vouche for fincar. But if my hair kept thinning, I'd pay an extra $200 for the US proscar just to see if there is a change. If you don't want to pay the $200 extra, and your hair keeps thinning, you might as well save your $90, or at least buy dutas.
