I knew this full well when in 2012 or thereabouts I stopped consuming sugar, cheese, butter, bread and everything that made scalp and back inflamed, I would probably be fully bald by now if I didn't stop consuming sugar, I still can't eat it.

Sugar is in everything virtually is the problem. Insulin drives mTOR/aging and so does dht. mTOR hyperactivation is IMO THEE reason we bald..

Is on everything that is processed, I don't consume processed foods either, hair loss stabilized somewhat all these years but there was no improvement. You need finasteride+minoxidil+hair transplant to get anywhere.

Wish I could go back in time and warm myself to never eat sugar at all, no chocolate, no fizzy drinks, no cakes, no ice-cream, no candy, no nothing! Sugar was the source of many problems with my health, wish I could get those years back.

Not that i don't agree with the result but the study itself is bad. If 1/3 of respondents are dropped on screening phase because they failed to answer whether or not they drink water... it means most of the responses are unreliable

Moderation.. There are so called studies that smoking causes baldness, now it’s sugar products.. Women eat sweets & smoke but I haven’t noticed bald women..,
