A month on Fincar....

I have been using Nizoral and Rogaine foam for about 2.5 months now and my girlfriend has noticed hair thickening in the top-rear of my head, so I have had positive results with Rogaine and nizoral.

I have been taking the 1/4 cuts of Fincar daily and have not noticed any significant shedding. I have noticed a few new hairs growing in the front of my hairline though. Maybe even some new spurts all over my scalp. Am I just being optimistic, or is this possible already?

If a heavy shed is coming, when should I expect it?

what do you guys think about taking say, 1/4 every other day? to add a little extra growing power, while trieng to keep shedding down. Think this will have any effect?

It will certainly have an effect, I would take a 1/4 a day though, if you get sides, then go to EOD.

If you're sure you only want to take 1/4 EOD, though, I'd say take 1/8 a day instead, because of the short half-life of the drug.

From what most posters are telling here I would say that most of the really good minoxidil responders start seeing results at about 2 months.
