A Positive Thought About The Future

This is something that always crosses my mind when I think about getting back a nw1 and not having to worry about hairloss anymore: I think that balding guys, if a cure were to be released, would have an advantage over genetic fullheads.

Like people who overcome challenging times and events in their life, we would feel so empowered and full of confidence if we were to get our hair back; fullheads don't all fully appreciate the luxury they have whereas we would. Speaking personally, 90% of my negative thoughts stem from my hairloss - I am generally confident in my appearance otherwise.

Ex Norwoods will rule the world one day, the tables will be turned!

Ask yourself though, if you got a full head all of a sudden would YOU REALLY have your problems solved or would you then start sigh'ing over your height, or weight, or lack of muscle, or lack of money etc etc.

I am 5'11, not tall but I'm honestly happy with that. I have a good job already not great money but potential to be in a few years.

Not denying I would still find things to feel insecure about - however majority of these things(muscles, money, etc) you can do something about. Hair loss doesn' have great options and there's always the nagging worry at the back of your mind that these limited options won't work forever

also this is some laughable bullshit from slybaldguys

other things are different because we lived our entire lives with them, unlike baldness.. thats what makes it unique. however i do still commiserate with other uglies, despite being in different situations

Thing is after being here for so long I started to realize most here wouldnt "do anything" about the other stuff. This is why I ask. I myself am at least in the upper 5' (by a SMIDGE), but pretty well built with some good investments and always looking. I have had 1 hair transplant and look to get more. I can honestly say, a full head of hair would change my life and make me "happy".

Not true how many arguments have I gotten into with people about not putting effort into correcting their problems and how to many people here just b**ch and complain but literally fight you on every piece of advice.

Also I only use caps to emphasize the words I need, like do an emphasis, inflection or sarcastic tone.

There needs to be a fine line between the insanity of hair loss and the reality so you dont become a mass shooter.

You're right... After being this side of hell, we would appreciate what we have if we get our hair back. I would be hitting on every single f*****g girls despite the rejections.. I would go out in the sun, I would travel to places I wanted to go to when I was Norwood 1. it would be looking forward from that point....if only...

Think a one off ‘cure’ is a long way off but i am optimistic about a better treatment, i would happily apply a topical twice a day to have a full head. Hell im crazy enough to do it already for fairly mediocre results haha

Think a one off ‘cure’ is a long way off but i am optimistic about a better treatment, i would happily apply a topical twice a day to have a full head. Hell im crazy enough to do it already for fairly mediocre results haha

It wasn't disappointment per say, I mean if you were expecting them to say 'we've found a cure' then yeah it's a disappointment but tsuji and sheseido still seem to be on track

On track? Well that's good to hear. You know, if this hair replication thing is going to here in another 3 to 4 years...I'm willing to work my *** off and save money for it. Sad to think it's going to be hella expensive though....which makes sense for a new treatment under patent

I came across YouTube videos saying Tsuji will be out with his treatment by 2020 and thereafter one might have unlimited donor supply. WTF? I thought that hair cloning and his research are two different things.

Yeah it will probably be quite expensive, that's why if you're still a NW2-3 sheseido is the best option.

I'm a NW5 diffuse, slick up to NW3 ...maybe even 2.5. but very very diffused. So I don't know if I'll be a candidate.

The money is the other issue.

Hmm that's a bit tricky, I'm not sure what to do then for short term. I'll put it this way though the most optimistic scenario is that tsuji releases in 2020 (nothing to say he won't be able to) and you save up enough money and become a full head by 2021. Also for the first year I think the intend to carry out this procedure on 10,000 patients.
