just curious, i read your article about the truth about saw palmetto,
here is what crinagen contains

The ingredients are: Distilled water; Polysorbate 20; Azelaic Acid; Zinc acetate hydrate; Niacin; Vitamin B6 (as Pyridoxal-5-phosphate); Saw palmetto extract (serenoa repens); Ginkgo biloba and a mild natural fragrance

in that article i looked up gingko and that can have lots of side effects, and saw palmeto's side effects can be worse to propecia, so that's mean crinagen being a natural substance is bad, or is your discusssion just about when it's taken internally.http://www.hairlosstalk.com/newsletter/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=230

Crinagen's most active ingredients have nothing to do with Saw Palmetto. They are the fatty acids (Alpha Linolenic Acid, GLA, etc.) which are incredibly potent DHT inhibitors and have been shown to do just that, when used topically, in mice. Revivogen and Crinagen's inclusion of Saw Palmetto is purely for marketing purposes because of people's misunderstanding that it can help treat hair loss.

As for side effects, I've used Revivogen (which is basically the same as Crinagen) for quite some time due to its Fatty Acid DHT inhibiting ingredients, and am very sensitive to anything I put in or on my body, and have had no problems. I was very reactive side effects-wise to orally ingested saw palmetto.

It's safe to use.

since both of you guys use revivogen, and are convinced its woth the $40 a month, I need to know: has it been able to fill in your bald spots or restore your hairlines?

thanks

I use crinagen with other treatments. I have no direct evidence as to its efficacy for regrowth. It does appear to be helping me retain the hair I have.

The only regrowth I ever experienced is when I was on the Big Three and folligen.

DHT inhibitors don't typically fill in bald spots or restore hairlines. They inhibit further degradation. This is what Propecia does as well. Yes, I have completely maintained my hair in the 2 years ive been off Propecia.

BS, why did I grow back 80% of my hair w/ proscar?
First off, I would love to see pictures where you are shown with only 20% of your hair, and then pictures showing you grew a whole new head of 80% more hair. Out of 1,553 people in the Propecia FDA trials, nobody grew "80%" of their hair back. Take some pictures and post them for us.

Even if you are not exagerrating, the propecia clinical data showed that a small percentage of amazing responders will regrow noticeable amounts of hair. What I said is not "BS" however. It is a known fact that DHT inhibitors are not considered big growth stimulators. The vast majority (roughly 65% of responders) will only see maintenance.

It is important that you familiarize yourself with the data.
