Well, are you sure it's not dermatitis? If it is, and maybe not recommended, but it should scratch off but I don't see any crusty aspect. I am not certain what sebum deposits look like but I know some folks find them when doing scalp massage but they should sort of be oh my Goddess full of pus or oil. Sorry but I am not a dermatologist but unfortunately essentially every single skin condition including baldness, above the neck is due to or caused by DHT and it can be hell to deal with cause neither finasteride nor duta stopped my dermatitis.

Thank you i dont think so because its not red bumps. the doctors cant figure it out one they simply r3fommended prp the other Doctor recommended minoxidil because weirdly they said i have a lot of hair just thin which is weire cause i thought i lost loads and thought maybe it was due to those white bumps but alas no one knows

Your crown is thinning but so far it's hanging in there and the crown is the most treated area baldness wise. Just keep working your protocol since no one has diagnosed anything with you. Sometimes things can be due to the immune system and fix themselves.

I can't find anybody really who is high on PRP. My technician advised against it. At best, it seems to be a really expensive short-term fix but with derma-rolling after, who knows? We are all groping in the dark a bit.

Ye its a tough one it seems quite appealing as the Doctor was saying i would be a good candidate foe it, but it just doesnt have enough evidence behind it- minoxidil supposedly would work well on my hair too but ive seen too many horror stories rhat its put me right off for at least 6 months whilst giving finaateride a go

I have only good things to say about minoxidil and I have used it since 1989 continuously but everyone is different. My main issue with minoxidil and then finasteride is that I never got any regrowth but they definitely slow the process down of balding and they gave me a feeling of control over my own destiny. Now, I am using both oral and topical minoxidil and it seems like it's working great but you can see that I have a huge stack but growth seemed much faster all over my body after oral minoxidil.

Really sinxe 1989 wow! Do you think im good candidate for it? Would you recommend it for someonr likr me? Is the shedding really bad? And since you been on it thay long, did it get more stable as time went on woth minoxidil? As in no more major sheds after the inital one? Do you still take it twice a day? Wow youd be a really good case study on it lol thats ages must be quite good then

Could it be dermatitis? I used to have to pick the scabs off my scalp and they were painful. Nothing worked either until HRT.

I have small red dots every now and then which get filled with pus and then crust over and heal. Most are just like whiteheads.

Dermatologist said it was scalp acne and nothing to really worry about.

Best to see a dermatologist.

That sounds like what I had but mine were painful and they were recurrent and only went away after HRT. I had lots of reasons to jump ship and go on HRT sadly....

It turns out these dots all over my scalp are folicles with no hair in them and apparently from what the Doctor said i can keep them alive with finasteride he said i caught it just in time anybody had experrience with visually closed folicles
