I always use rogaine foam but I bought Kirkland minoxidil foam from amazon.

1) will this affect my hair?

2) amazon is trust worthy enough that I'm not getting fake minoxidil, right?

the problem is that amazon often uses resellers, so in those cases they are only as reliable as the reseller itself. your kirkland is probably fine, but why not just get directly from costco in rhe future?

If you want to be absolutely certain (as I would be) then take what some may see as an extreme step, and buy regaine as well, use the regaine 3 days in a row to 1 day kirkland until you get through it. One day off minoxidil completely won't f*** things up as it takes a few weeks off it for the effects of minoxidil to stop, and the kirkland is most likely fine, but just to be sure.

You're right... but surely amazon can't be selling fake minoxidil right? I can't take it back lol but I will still use rogaine. I will use rogaine for one application and this for the other

Ya I would think theres very little chance its fake. Especially since Kirkland is so cheap anyway, not much incentive to fake it!

And FWIW when I got Kirkland from Costco I couldnt believe how cheap it was. I got a few boxes of six bottles each, so much minoxidil for so little $... much much cheaper than name brand Rogaine. And so cheap that theres really no reason to ever get it from ebay or amazon, unless you live outside the US.

They're giving me my 60 dollars back and letting me keep the 6 month Kirkland foam lol

For me looks legit from the product and the box, I never tried Rogaine products, but I think Kirkland have same effect.

Foam wouldn't be fake but the liquid is easy to fake and very profitable as long as you have empty bottles to reuse.

It's easy to tell if liquid is legit or fake.
1-The smell, it's smells like alcohol.

2-Put a little of minoxidil on paper if it changes the color to yellowish....it's legit

Btw I only tried the kirkland liquid, so I don't know about the others minoxidil liquids.
