About To Start Finasteride, I Have Some Questions

Hi guys, I'm about to start finasteride and have a couple of questions:

1. I'll be using proscar pills, so, is there a difference between taking 1.25 mg every other day and taking 0.625 every day? this way 1 package would last almost 8 months, which is way more convenient for me (I'm assuming both efficacy and the possibility of side effects should not be dramatically affected)

2. Should I be taking it in the morning or in the evening? I'm assuming it doesn't mater, but asking anyway.

3. What's the expiration date on those pills (don't have my package yet so I can't check it)?

4. Besides those notorious sexual side effects, does this drug mess with focus, sleep and weight?

5. I'm currently on some antidepressants, does it matter or can I take finasteride too regardless?

4: Yes it can mess with all those things, but it is very unlikely
