Are there any other options besides finadteride to stop this AWFUL hairline? My balls have been aching none stop (throbbing) since starting 0.5mg daily. Really worried/scared.

Ball ache is the most common symptom a few days after beggining treatment. Had it for the first one or two weeks with 1 mg EOD. It will go away on its own eventually, 96% of men don't suffer any side effects at all long term. You can look it up on your own at pubmed using scihub if you don't believe me, there are hundreds of peer reviewed studies. Definitely avoid websites such as propeciahelp and the like cuz you will risk experiencing the Nocebo Effect.
