First off I am taking propecia EOD which I think has stabilized my hair as I have not seen further loss since starting 2.5 years ago. I started rogain almost a year ago now and and inititially had great success and super thick hair and now the effects seem to be dwindling as I switched to Rogain Foam.
I originally started regular Rogain, but saw a lot of unwanted side effects including horrible 24/7 acne on my temples, a greatly thickened, darker beard with hair growing up to the corner of my eye (had to have it lasered twice!!), horrible open pore looking skin that started showing crowes feet, and puffy eyes/face.
Eventually I could not take it and switched to Rogain Foam where I saw many of the side effects go away with the exception of the acne on my temples which is milder now, but still bad and still there. Thinking of quitting now as I had great skin while on Propecia alone, but a bit less hair as well. Any one else get this horrible acne? I change my sheets regularly and take care of my skin. Acne at 26 years old should not be.
