acne from finasteride... does it go away?

i've been taking 0.5 mg finasteride every day for exactly 3 weeks now, in the last few days i've noticed my forehead and nose is becoming super oily. my forehead feels sorta 'thick' too with oil, even after i wash my face or take a shower. i got this same side effect from taking saw palmetto last year, is this a good sign?



does the acne tend to subside after a few weeks, or should i just give up? i have experienced a very slight libido/erection decrease but no other sides so far.


obviously it's too soon to make any reactions about hair, but i feel my temples may be getting a bit thinner. i figure without finasteride it will fall out in time anyway, so might as well try it, right? :dunno:

The same thing heppend to me.. about 3 months into taking Propecia I got some acne on my forehead and nose.
But within a couple ot weeks it vanished, and now almost 4 months into treatment I have no acne

hmm, what about the sexual sides? do those go away with time also?

Do not know about the sexual sides, but I too got extreme levels of grease on my face and an increase in acne after about one month on finasteride, although a few weeks later my face dried up and I actually gone to having less acne then I had pre-finasteride ( got some comments).
