Well, like the title says, I'm the new guy. Hello to everyone, though I admit I wish I didn't have to be posting here. Been experiencing gradual hair loss since I was about 24 or so. I'm 28 now, and it's getting rather hard to cover up these days. Mine is just a general thinning of the top in general. It sucks, because I've always enjoyed wearing my hair long (guitar players like myself like that sort of thing), but I can tell that, one of these days, I'm gonna look like that old hippie you see walking around with long hair everywhere but on top. So, enough is enough I say, and I'm finally going to start to do something about it. I've been using Toppik for a while, which is a wonderful product that I highly recommend, but I know that's not my real hair. I figure I'll start with a regimen of Nizoral and Generic Finasteride. I've tried Minoxodil before, but the 5% really irritated my scalp. May try the 2% as a substitute. Hopefully, those 3 things together will give me some real results. I've shaved my head before, so I've seen myself completely bald. In all honesty, it's a look I could get used to, but it's just not who I really am. I want to keep my hair, durnit! Looking forward to any and all friendly advice from the rest of you guys. Thanks for reading!
