add minoxidil??

Okay guys I Have been on proscar/nizoral for 4 weeks. Its been okay, but I still do see small amount of shedding. Would Minoxidil make it better? I heard too many scare stories on it that it actually would make hair more shedding for 3-4 months. Is this true? if it isnt I would use it.
has anybody had improvements form it n how long did it take?

Adding topical minoxidil or not, should be a choice based on your present hair image- not on the fact that you are still shedding after 4 weeks on proscar. 4 weeks is nothing.

Minoxidil often causes noticeable sheds so don't rely on it to stop shedding in a short term.

Stop worrying about shedding, settle on a regimen and stay consistent for at least a year.

4 weeks is not enough time to make any kind of assessment ! You may be on these medications for 10 or 20 years, 4 weeks is not even the start.

Proscar (you are cutting the pills into smaller parts I hope?) will take around 3 months before it kicks in.
