advice from finasteride users

Considering adding finasteride to my regime, I have found many posts concerning what to expect, but if finasteride users could tell me what they experienced as far as sheds and progress over time goes it would greatly help me be realistic about my expectations.
Did you shed dramaticaly? At what moths?
Are you back to where you started from or do things look better?

Hi, Been on finasteride for six months now. First few weeks I noticed that my penis was a bit less sensative to begin with but that passed. Since then Sex has not been an issue. No other side affects as of yet.

Month 5 I noticed a shed. Not loads but enough to notice a general thinning but month six and my hair is now recovering again. My Girlfriend even noticed that my hair was getting thicker.

If I was you I would start ASAP. if you are just starting to lose your hair then start now. If you are relativley bald then I would not give you much chance of growing any hair. I have noticed dark hair around my temple hairline which is great news.
