advice - just started to notice balding at crown -towards back of head.

I have very thick heair everywhere else.

I have started to use matrix shampoo on the advice of a friend.

I've had blood tests to ensure that there are no deficencies.

I'm not looking for a treatment that I need to constantly use - I'm not looking to spend a fortune on big surgery - can anyone reccomend proven treatment that they've used and has worked?

The problem i'm finding is that people I speak to have tried many things so they are unsure of whats actually worked..

Finasteride. It's basically the only FDA approved baldness treatment.
